Electric and Solar Cars, which  used Green Power,  have been invented due to these issues  but until this time it is still in the process of studying. This eco-friendly cars needs to be charged up from time to time to be able to run in a longer period of time which in a way are inconvenient for its user. So, car enthusiasts do some studies and innovations to have friendly environmental cars that will travel in a long period of time which is more convenient to its users plus not hurting our eco system.

Recently, an Electric Car beats up the new world record; it travels 313 miles on just a charge. Yes it travels on just a single charge!

The record was set on the Global Green Challenge held in Australia. It is a solar car race participated by electric car vehicles that are charged up through a photovoltaic energy.

Simon Hackett together with Elilis Prelgauskas set the new world record; they’ve travel at the range of 501 kilometers or roughly 313 miles on a single charge.  As Hackett said they’ve wanted to prove the ability of Electric Vehicles, EVs, and stresses that those EVs are not only a practical car hence, it is the future of motoring.

October 31st, 2009 Get Your Green On No comments

Imagine having a roof mounted 36″ turbine on your home that would be able to supply enough power to provide lighting for a home that is up to 3,600 square feet. This product is just about to hit the market, and it’s true. The Jellyfish Wind Appliance by Clarian Technologies, which is located in Seattle, WA, is a 36″ turbine that can generate this amount of power using a simple “Plug and Play” operation.

The new technology used in the wind turbine has all the features a home owner would desire. It is safe, very affordable, quiet and in can be installed by just about anyone. You won’t have to worry about zoning codes or huge products costing thousands of dollars because you can now utliize the power of the wind, using a 36″ wind turbine.

The Jellyfish Wind Appliance sets a new standard in that it makes it easy for anyone to afford, and again, it makes it easy for just about anyone to install. Think of it as another household appliances that in the future could become as common as the microwave or computer. Watch the following video to see how it works.

From a technical standpoint, the Jellyfish is only 36″ tall and incorporates a solid-state controller with a variable-speed induction generator that plugs directly into one of your existing wall outlets. Then, when the wind blows, power is automatically generated into your home.

By mounting it to your roof or to a wind tower or pole etc., it can generate up to 40 kWh per month and that is in moderate winds. This can power the lighting of an average size home using energy efficient bulbs, like CFL’s, for the entire month. Imagine the amount of money you could save over time.

Best of all, this product has a target price of under $400.00.  That is quite a deal. The company projects that as demand for these units goes us, the price will come down even more.

The Jellyfish is virtually maintenance free since it uses the same proven design found in other household appliances that use industrial type motors. It also uses no brushes or moving parts that can wear out. From a safety standpoint, if your electricity were to go out due to a temporary outage, the Jellyfish will immediately stop generating power. So, the Jellyfish is not intended to be used as a back-up type generator.

Do Prescription Discount Programs Help People Save Health Care Dollars

October 31st, 2009 Get Your Green On No comments

Everyone is entitled to obtain medications at a pre-determined fee regardless of their pay, age or pre-existing conditions. There is a novel medication discount card offered to everybody that needs it, and it is free of charge! Access to medical care and rx access is here too.  For too long, patients lacking presciption insurance have been paying full retail cost for their drugs however with this new program they will now have an advocate by their side. Personal medical insurance is available.

There are numerous companies that have programs to cut down the price tag of drugs to those Americans without healthcare insurance policies. This has developed into quite an chance to save health care dollars among cardholders in all 50 states. Generally, these prescription medication discount cards are established at over 50 ,000 regional and national pharmacies.

Numerous non-profit organizations and clinics dispense the cards as a means to fill a need and assist their community in hard times. The discount cards have been mailed to neighboring United Way agencies, clinics, physician offices and pharmacies in addition to neighboring community health centers. These cards are not health insurance, however they can ease the cost of your prescription medicine by up to 60  percent or more. The individual simply presents their card to the pharmacy and they are guaranteed that they will shell out either the negotiated charge or the pharmacy’s retail cost, whichever is lower.

There are citizens that are saving $21 -$60  on a prescription and that is money they can expend to purchase groceries, pay lease or pay the cable fees. Persons are also able to get the drugs they very much need. The cards are offered at no cost to everyone and there is no cap on how regularly they can be used.

An added approach that a number of companies are able to assist uninsured citizens is through Prescription Assistance Programs. These plans are operated by each pharmaceutical company and every one is a little special. If a individual qualifies however, they might get their prescription drugs at no charge. To meet the criteria the patient needs to be without medical insurance and their family take-home pay must not go above selected guidelines.

There is a enormous need for prescription medicine help at this moment, particularly in view of the fact that a bunch of patients continue to suffer the loss of their jobs. A bunch of citizens need aid currently more than ever.

Global Climate Change

October 30th, 2009 Get Your Green On No comments

Have you heard of this term- “climate change”? Perhaps yes, through the help of televisions, radio, newspaper, and particularly the internet.  However, we never paid enough attention until these horrible earthquakes, floods, typhoons are happening in different countries these days. Climate change has crashed the world little by little.

The fact is 70% of the people are really not on the “environmental” thing. Yes, almost all of us hate to see graphs and chemical formulas science could explain in details what is happening to Mother Earth.

Our earth is not healthy anymore, too far from it. Volume of carbon dioxide has been increasing rapidly. Polluting the air and killing people.

Some recent examples of the tragedies climate change has brought us just this past two months are:

1. Strong earthquakes hit Indonesia.

Late September of this year, Sumatra has experienced two strong earthquakes- the first one is 7.6 magnitude followed by 6.6 magnitude that killed more than 1000 people.

2. Typhoons hit Philippines.
Earlier this month, October, approximately 200 people died because of the heavy rains that triggered floods and landslides in the Northern part of the Philippines.

The number of the environmental concern people is now starting to increase (still few but surely it will increase) and they are now starting to come up with possible solutions to the growing problems of Climate Change caused by Global Warming.

It’s not too late and every one of us can do our little own share to solve this problem such as using eco friendly materials.

Love Mother Earth. Go Green.

How To Stop Foreclosure – 3 Legitimate Solutions

October 30th, 2009 Get Your Green On No comments

A great resource: Stop Foreclosure In Houston

To Stop Foreclosure in nearly any city in the United States of America, there are basically only a few legitimate options. Some of these you’ll know, and some will be brand new to you.

Here are a few directions you can take:

  • Sell your house prior to the foreclosure auction. The value of this idea will vary heavily depending on the nature and quality of your local real estate market. If you’re in a market that still has very slow resale rates, selling your home could be a challenge. Ask a local real estate agent to determine the average number of days on the market for properties in your area.
  • Initiate a loan modification. A loan modification is a process through which your lender changes the payment terms of your loan to more closely match your ability to pay. While this is not a guarantee, loan modifications have become more popular in the last 12 months.
  • Refinance the property. If you are not yet fully into the foreclosure process but have reason to expect you will fall behind on your payments, it may be wise to try to refinance your mortgage to a lower rate. If your property is worth less than the balance of the mortgage, you’ll want to inquire regarding a “short refinance”, which is when a lender forgives a portion of the debt against you in order for you to refinance your property and pay off the remainder of the debt you owe.

When you’re trying to stop a foreclosure, the key is fast action.

Warning: Be very wary of people who aggressively attempt to purchase your home for investment purposes. While there are many legitimate real estate investors, there has been a significant amount of fraud with “Stop Foreclosure” scams, and it is wise to be very, very careful.

Please remember: The crisis you now face will soon be over. As a foreclosure survivor myself, I’d like to encourage you to remain hopeful, and to understand that your future does not equal your past!

Thanks for reading this information about how to stop foreclosure. I hope you’ve found value here.

Quotes From The Movie Hook

We have some film reviewed in the following paragraphs. Here are some ways to find movie download sites. You should try two or three searches, with terms like, “Full Movie Download”, “Online DVD Rental Service”, and “Top 100 Movie Rentals”.

Thief of Baghdad: Reeves looks for the elusive blue rose so he could wed the Sultan’s baby girl. This is nothing like the Sabu rendition, although this is a good piece of work. Cast includes Steve Reeves, Giorgia Moll, Arturo Dominici, and Edy Vessel. (90 minutes, 1961)

Bulletproof Heart: Fortunate hit guy LaPaglia gets a job he’s not really cut out for. He he hired to take out an attractive woman who is in dept with the mob. 4 well-conditioned, well-played characters containing Boyle’s gloomy mobster and Craven’s dimwit companion-don’t count quite make this a hit. Cast includes Anthony LaPaglia, Mimi Rogers, Peter Boyle, Matt Craven, and Joseph Maher. (100 minutes, 1994)

Blithe Spirit: Delectable adaptation of Noel Coward’s comedy fantasy in regards to a guy whose long since passed first spouse appears to haunt-and tease him in his recently wedded life. Rutherford is remarkable as Madame Arcati, the metaphysical medium. This film made an Oscar for its visual effects. Cast includes Rex Harrison, Constance Cummings, Kay Hammond, Margaret Rutherford, Hugh Wakefield, and Joyce Carey. (96 minutes, 1945)

Sidewalks of New York: A light hearted comedy in regards to lhe romantic entanglements of a group of New Yorkers. The film has an unmistakable Woody Allen-ish feel, although Burns’ script is no match for Allen. Cast includes Edward Bums, Rosario Dawson, Heather Graham, Stanley Tucci, David Krumholtz, Dennis Farina, Brittany Murphy, Callie Thome, and Aida Turturro. (107 minutes, 2001)

So Dark the Night: Renowned Parisian investigator is set to work throughout his holy day in the French country side. An impressively made B film, something of a sleeper in its time, agonizes only for absence of appeal on the part of its (mainly obscure) cast. Cast includes Steven Geray, Micheline Cheirel, Eugene Borden, Ann Codee, Egon Brecher, and Helen Freeman. (71 minutes, 1946)

Ruby’s Fantasy: Smooth although typical drive-in fare in regards to a shell-stunned Vietnam vet who finds himself the object of an enormous manhunt in a small Alabama town. It is the same elementary tale as First Blood which came later. Cast includes Linda Blair, Ben Johnson, Matt Clark, and Richard Famsworth. (91 minutes, 1982)

Strange Interlude: Talky Eugene O’Neill play gets to be marathon of central opinions exposed only to spectators in journal of Gable, Shearer. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is a preoccupying film, with Shearer at her brilliant best. Cast includes Norma Shearer, Clark Gable, Might Robson, Maureen O’Sullivan, Robert Youthful, Ralph Morgan, Henry B. Walthall, and Alexander Kirkland. (110 minutes, 1932)

Rocky Balboa: Title personality, now a 6O-ish widower and eatery owner who’s disassociated from his business yuppie child (Ventimiglia), plans to re-enter the ring one last timeto battle the present heavyweight Champ. Not as poor as it may have been, even though it strains credibility; contrived, to be certain, although additionally curiously admiring. A number of ESPN-type Television identities appear as their selves. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Burt Youthful, Milo Ventimiglia, Geraldine Hughes, James Francis Kelly Sick, Tony Burton, A. J. Benza, Henry G. Sanders, and Antonio Tarver. (102 minutes, 2006)

Hail Caesar: Horrible music-megastar wannabe (Chamber) is in love with an offensive debutante, whose dad is plotting to yndermine an upcoming concert. Not a very good film. Cast includes Anthony Michael Chamber, Robert Downey, Jr., Frank Gorshin, Samuel L. Jackson, Judd Nelson, and Nicholas Pryor. (97 minutes, 1993)

Was this list of films helpful? With the right search, like “Buy Movie Download” or “Downloadable Movie” you will find out all you need to know on downloading movies from the internet. If neither of those work use “DVD Movie Online Rental”.

With Movies from the internet you will no longer need to head out the door during video store hours. online movies rental Of course you have to be an avid watcher of movies. This is something that we know you are going to enjoy, because everyone enjoys entertainment.
